Summer Wrap-Up
The RTC at Sand Point enjoyed a great summer camp season which came to a close on August 13th. There were a lot of new faces at the camps and there were a lot of new tennis fans when it was all said and done. With many of the new faces between the ages of 6-12, we feel that tennis has a bright future in the North Seattle area and are looking forward to reaching out to improve more lives through tennis.
When asked about her summer camp experience, this 8-year old girl said, "It was the best camp I took all summer and the coaches were fantastic. Tennis at RTC was fun because of all the games we learned and the friends we made."
Partnering with the University District YMCA and Magnuson Park neighbor, Arena Sports, the RTC provided tennis workouts for their youth summer camps continuing to grow tennis even more! 40 + kids from these groups came to experience tennis and the RTC staff was thrilled to be able to be a part of these other programs in the community.
We would like to thank Revel Consulting, Inc., for being such a great and supportive sponsor for the 2010 Summer Tennis Camps, as well as Oxford Screen Printing for the camp t-shirts.
