Tier 7 = Junior Intermediate Group for 9 -13 yr olds

Tier 7 level players are intermediate juniors just getting introduced to tournament match play. T7 players compete on the USTA's Rookie level. These juniors should have a basic knowledge of play such as keeping score and be able to sustain short rallies on court. T7 players will learn the different uses of grips, spin varieties for both groundstrokes and serves, mental focus and movement skills.

T7 level players are the next crop of high school players with this being the level at where the majority of players will develop the longest.
