Tier 4 = HS Intermediate I Group for 14-18 yr old Juniors

Tier 4 level players are intermediate juniors just getting introduced to tournament match play. T4 players compete on the USTA's Rookie level and are Junior Varsity players at their schools. These juniors should have a basic knowledge of play such as keeping score and be able to sustain short rallies on court. T4 players will learn the different uses of grips, spin varieties for both groundstrokes and serves, mental focus and movement skills.

Tier 4 level players are generally junior varsity players looking to move up into varsity level tennis and are looking to begin their junior tournament careers.
