USTA statistics indicate more kids are starting to play tennis at younger ages.  They are designing special 18' by 36'  "Quickstart" courts to provide kids with an opportunity to learn on a smaller court.  Special foam balls and lower nets are also used to make the game easier to learn for small kids.  The Tennis Center at Sandpoint will allocate court time for Quickstart tennis to accommodate this youth movement and help build strong tennis players in our community.
